SoloEast is looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic tour guide! SoloEast is an international company with a well-known worldwide name. We provide customers withmemorable and breathtaking tours to Chernobyl since 1999 and our guides play a large role in this procedure.If you find yourself in this field, you enjoy history, unusual experience, communication with people this position is for you!
The tour guide is responsible for making sure that our tours are interesting, informative, and memorable. Experience is not required but desired.Training will be provided.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
- Narrating sightseeing tours
- Providing hospitality services and one-on-one interactions, which will ensure a positive, informative and quality experience that is memorable to all customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction and safety at all times
- Follow safety procedures in order to ensure protection of passengers and vehicle
- Communicate to tour members in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Respond accurately to consumer questions to ensure our customers are able to learn as well as enjoy their tour experience.
The Other Qualifications
- Strong people skills and good verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work at least part-time April through September
- Must be extremely comfortable with public speaking
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Having the physical ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, and stand for long periods of time.
